Early Childhood Education

The Early Childhood Education program incorporates theory into practice, preparing the individual to enter the professional world of early childhood education. The curriculum combines basic knowledge and practical experience working with children and their families. Courses in the program will enable a student to work in a variety of childcare settings both private and public.

For this program, minimum academic requirements are a cumulative grade point average of 2.00 or better and a 66.66% completion rate. Please refer to academic standards on pages 23 in the course catalog for more information.
