HOW TO APPLY
Step 1: Submit an application for admission with $30 application fee or fee waiver. The application fee is a one-time-only fee and is nonrefundable. You may download an application, request a mailed application, or apply online.
Step 2: Contact the Admissions Office to set up your campus visit.
Step 3: Apply for financial aid, if needed. Financial aid deadlines are typically 2 weeks prior to a start date. Non Degree applicants are not eligible for financial aid as they are not enrolled in a degree or diploma program.
Step 4: Contact your high school to have an official copy of your transcript mailed to Beal College at 99 Farm Road, Bangor, Maine 04401. Faxed copies of transcripts and transcripts submitted by applicants will not be accepted. If you have a GED, please contact the GED Scores Office in the state where you took your GED test and have an official copy mailed to Beal College. If you are still in high school, please have your guidance counselor mail us a mid-year transcript as soon as it is available.
Step 5: Locate your immunization records. Beal College complies with the State of Maine statute regarding immunization requirements for students attending post-secondary institutions. These records include 2 doses of MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) or MMR Titer blood test (applicants born before 1957 do not need to supply proof of MMR); plus a Tetanus/diphtheria shot administered within the last 10 years. Non Degree applicants are not required to provide immunization records.
Step 6: Budget for textbooks your first Mod. All students must pay for textbooks out of pocket their first Mod, unless an agency or someone else is paying for their books. Financial Aid funds are not sent to Beal College until a student has attended school for at least 30 days. Please plan accordingly: full-time students should plan to spend approximately $200 for books their first Mod and part-time students should plan to spend $150 for books their first Mod.
